Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Alcance Technologies Ltd collects through alcance.ng, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Who we are

Alcance Technologies Ltd (“Alcance”, “we”, “us”) is a technology company registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission and based in Kano, Nigeria. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website, alcance.ng.

This policy covers this website only. Our products (such as Dali, Mall, Errand, Grow and One) have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them. For example, Dali’s policy is at dali.alcance.ng/privacy.

2. Personal data we collect

We keep the data we collect on this website to a minimum:

  • Information you send us. When you email us or contact us about a project, we receive what you choose to share, typically your name, email address, company and the details of your enquiry.
  • Technical data. Like most websites, our servers and our network provider automatically record basic request data, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data on this website, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

3. How we use it and our lawful basis

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), we use personal data only where we have a lawful basis:

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss or prepare a proposal, because you asked us to (steps prior to entering a contract) or with your consent.
  • To keep the website secure and working, including detecting abuse and fixing errors, based on our legitimate interests.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as responding to lawful requests from authorities.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our network and security provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from bots and abuse. These cookies don’t identify you personally and can’t be switched off without affecting the site’s security.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run this website and our business, and only as much as they need:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that run our servers.
  • Cloudflare, which delivers and protects this website.
  • Our email provider, which handles messages you send us.

Some of these providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards the NDPA allows, such as adequate protection in the destination country or appropriate contractual terms. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to respond to you and manage any resulting relationship. If an enquiry doesn’t lead to a project, we delete it within 24 months. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes and then deleted. We may keep data longer where the law requires it.

7. How we protect it

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission of a breach where the law requires.

8. Your rights

Under the NDPA, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • restrict or object to how we use your data;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time the law requires. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on this website.

10. Contact us
